LACMA Members: We Need Your Vote!

Make your voice count in our annual elections

The Los Angeles County Medical Association is holding its 147th Annual Election and you are invited to cast your vote. As a benefit of membership, you have the privilege of voting for the physicians who will best serve the needs of the medical community, who understands medicine and who will fight for physicians and patients alike.

Good governance and leadership provides the vision and direction to execute on LACMA's mission. The responsibility for governing LACMA rests with our physician-led board of directors, represented by a strong and trustworthy network of physician leaders who represent a diverse range of specialties, geographies, and modes of practice and who advocate for quality healthcare and serve the professional needs of our members. LACMA's success relies on achieving our mission-related goals and ensuring our members have the resources they need to maintain the sacrosanct physician-patient relationship.

This year, there is one vacancy for the position of Councilor-at-Large on the LACMA Board of Directors and three candidates have been nominated to fill one Councilor-at-Large vacancy. Please be sure to view their candidate statements below before voting. When reviewing each statement, it is important to remember that the ultimate responsibility of the Councilor-at-Large includes serving as the advisor and advocate for LACMA and its members to the LACMA Board of Directors.
